Our committee members work tirelessly to ensure that the chapter has maximum value for the membership at large. Current Committees are:
The Awards & Nominations Committee is responsible for nominating prospective candidates for the National or Chapter awards and nominating chapter members where suitable, as well as screening and recommending NYIAEE CEM Scholarship Program and/or recertification winners.
The Committee is responsible for the management of expenses and raising revenue through the promotion and solicitation of sponsorship and advertising. The committee will work in collaboration with the Board and Program committee to ensure Chapter fluidity.
The Program Committee is responsible for researching and identifying high-quality speakers and timely topics for the educational portion of at least 3 events a year to drive maximum attendance, with a focus on topics that attract event organizers, young professionals, vendor/partners and sponsors. This committee should also contact venues for in-person programming.
The Membership Committee is responsible for determining the wants and expectations of our Chapter members and developing initiatives specifically designed to meet their needs.
